Absolute home run! What a little gem in the pearl this place is! And at only 9 months old, they are killing it!!!! Came in for a Wednesday night date night last week and was shocked at how absolutely beautiful the ambiance was. For our bellies, we ordered General Tso's, wonton soup, dumplings and fried rice. For our livers....i can't remember but all three drinks were impressively delicious! Honorable mention was the soup and the Tso's. I've never in my life had chicken that tender and flavorful. My tastebuds were very thankful for my decision to nosh on this little treat! The soup was sadly a special. I would send the hubby for a bowl any time I was sick or hankering for that broth. Something from the heavens!!!! The fried rice was amazing. Loved the stickiness but I will say I wish there was a smidge more sausage but only because we were fighting over each morsel!!!! Mmm... I wish I wouldn't have ordered the dumplings. But that is completely my fault. They are these rolled in house little poofs of delight but with the wonton, it was just too much dumpling. I can't wait to go back. I'm torn on broadcasting this place since I'm absolutely positive it's going to end up with a cult following.

Ordered an array of food items and each one was so incredibly good. I had previously had dinner and met up with friends but the food was so good I ended up having a second dinner. The bar itself is instagram worthy. It's dark, but not too dark. It has a good vibe to it. The service was easy as we ordered everything at the counter and everything came out so quick

Swanky lil cocktail bar with elegant design and spacious interior. You have to order food and drinks at the bar, so that's what me and my boyfriend did. Btw, u still have to order at the bar even if you plan on sitting down for "dinner" service. I ordered the Taipei Milky Way and my boyfriend got an espresso martini. I rate my drink a 9/10, it's on the sweet side, it was giving tiki cocktail, would order again. The espresso martini got a 6/10, solid performance but nothing special. We also got the wagyu beef dumplings and omg these are some of the best dumplings I've ever had! But $15 for 5 small dumplings it feels a little bad but I guess it's wagyu so what do I know. The service was good and everyone was inviting. We went on a busy Friday night so it was kind of hard to hear each other talking in the space, a lot of yelling over the background noise. Traffic peaked at around 9:30pm and by 10:30 it had quieted down. It's a spot I'd visit again but maybe earlier on in the night so that I can have a little conversation.

We put "trendy bar" into a Yelp search and found this gem! We love this place. The bartenders were fabulous and drinks were amazing. An unusually broad selection of tequila for the PNW. The crispy tofu was fantastic!

Pretty cool romantic cocktail bar with a good selection of spirits and cocktails... They do have a limited menu of Americanized Asian food. Good vibes and good music.

This bar experience was top notch. We sat at the bar and our bartender was excellent. We had a play to go to and they made sure we got our food and drinks with enough time to enjoy our visit. The cocktails were great. The food was even better. The vibes were immaculate.

Absolutely enjoyed everything we ordered here. The cocktails were exquisite. The fried rice, calamari, and noodles were so flavorful. We sat at the bar which was gorgeous. Our bartenders took great care of us. This is a fantastic spot for a date night.

Portland's bar scene is top notch, and this scene has food to rival its drinks. Silk Road makes this list. With the same owner as Lulu bar in SE Portland, I was excited to see this expansion. The interior is beautiful with booths, tables, mirrors, and a beautiful, arch display of their spirits. Lighting was warm and dim, but not too dark. We got the Salt and Pepper Calamari, Silk Dumplings, and Chow Wow Noodles. The food was great! It reminded me of a Thai-Chinese fusion and I was not mad. The rice noodles were a bit too mushy for my liking, but the flavors were great. Portions sizes are great for sharing, but also enough for a full meal. In NW Portland, Silk Road is classy and stylish, great for date nights or a chill evening for food and drinks!

I highly recommend newer NW bar Silk Road, for an after work happy hour or weekday date night downtown. I work in NW but live in NE so don't spend much time downtown after work. I have a friend that lives in SW and wanted to meet up after work. Silk Road was on the list and we decided to check it out. The aesthetic and vibes are on point and the staff is super friendly and quick to assist. You order at the bar but it still feels like table service. My friend and I opted out of drinking that night but can't wait to go back and try the oolong old fashion. The food was phenomenal. We got the General Tsos Chicken and the Chow Wow Noodles to share between us. Well portioned for the price and not too salty. I was able to find street parking right out front but recommend planning extra time since it's in the pearl. It wasn't too busy when we went just after 5pm on a Thursday.
